Ms. Jimerson is a 1975 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and one of the first students to participate in the magnet program in its current form. She is also a 1979 graduate of Oklahoma State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Sociology with a Corrections Option. Ms. Jimerson is a 1995 graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law where she participated in national moot court competitions having received the Order of the Barristers. Ms. Jimerson is a native Tulsan and is involved as a board member with many organizations that assists underprivileged children with tutoring, life skills, and character building. Ms. Jimerson has historically assisted children by representing them in juvenile court and adults in District Courts all over the State of Oklahoma.

Ms. Jimerson is an avid tennis player and is a member of the United States Tennis Association and the American Tennis Association. She recently has become an avid golfer and cyclist. She is also a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Attorney Jimerson is a Licensed Attorney to Practice in the Tribal Courts of both Muscogee Creek Nation and Cherokee Nation. She is the past president of the Federal Bar Association.
